Our Brief

The Glades Shopping Centre required an agency to work with and organise their 2nd Retailer Awards.

The Awards is an important date in the retail calendar, as it is an opportunity for the centre to recognise and reward excellency of stores which have provided outstanding customer service, maintained high standards throughout the centre and have created an exciting shopping environment for visitors during the year.

The Awards had to deliver and provide the following to guests:

A welcome reception with drinks and canapés
An awards ceremony and presentation
An after-party, together with food, drinks, music and gifts

The Solution

We were once again given the responsibility of all event management and were thrilled to be organise The Glades 2nd Retailer Awards event.

We were able to use their wealth of experience and contacts within the events industry to ensure all aspects were delivered and to a premium level.

This included making some minor tweaks and improvements upon last year’s event, ensuring an even smoother delivery and Wow factor! It’s all in the detail! 

We sourced drinks and canapes from retailers within the centre, and booked, co-ordinated and briefed suppliers and experienced staff to deliver the awards ceremony. This included everything from organising furniture, AV, decorations, briefing crew, hostesses, the presenter, through to creation of the presenter’s script and liaising with the after-party venue.

For the after-party, Belgium restaurant Belgo (located within the centre) was selected as the venue and provided guests with a complimentary schnapps or orange juice on arrival, plus buffet food and drinks served by staff.

We also managed the following:

sourcing of guest wristbands, drinks tokens and activation on-site.
DJ and complimentary goody bags on departure

Results

500+ gifts stuffed in to goody bags

250+ canapés eaten!

130+ guests attended
