As a trained journalist I started my career as a news reporter before working as a features writer. I was a deputy editor of glossy, lifestyle magazines for 15 years before working in PR. I enjoy challenges, meeting new people and deadlines. Above all I am passionate about writing and love being creative, so it has been exciting extending my career within the world of PR. It is great working with the variety of clients and no two days are the same.

Claim to Fame
Where do I start? Working as a journalist I have been fortunate to interview/meet many famous faces over the years – Tom Hanks was amazing. However my favourite star struck moment was getting to speak (very briefly) to Simple Minds front man Jim Kerr at one of their gigs – fulfilling a childhood dream as they were the first band I ever saw perform live when I was 15!

Walking, running, enjoying time with my family and coastal holidays
Fears
The office running out of milk meaning I wouldn’t be able to have my multiple daily cups of tea!
