1. Policy Statement
The Augmented Group is committed to ensuring that modern slavery, in all its forms — including slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking — has no place in our business or our supply chains. We take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.
2. Purpose
This policy outlines the steps The Augmented Group takes to identify, prevent, and mitigate the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chains, in compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
3. Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, consultants, interns, agency workers, suppliers, and any other parties associated with The Augmented Group, including third-party vendors and partners.
4. Our Business
The Augmented Group is a UK-based marketing agency and publisher that provides digital and traditional marketing services alongside of publishing of a B2B publication within three geographical areas. While the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations is low due to the nature of our business, we remain vigilant about potential risks in our supply chains, including suppliers of IT equipment, office services, and outsourced functions.
5. Responsibilities
- Senior Management is responsible for ensuring that this policy is implemented effectively.
- Line Managers must ensure staff are aware of this policy and their responsibilities under it.
- Employees and Contractors are expected to report concerns and comply with all anti-slavery procedures.
6. Training and Awareness
We provide training to relevant employees to help them identify signs of modern slavery and understand the risks, including how to report concerns.
7. Reporting Concerns
Employees and third parties are encouraged to raise concerns about any issue or suspicion of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chains.
All reports will be taken seriously and investigated promptly. Retaliation against whistleblowers is strictly prohibited.
8. Breaches of This Policy
Any employee or individual found to be in breach of this policy may face disciplinary action, including dismissal or termination of contract. We also reserve the right to terminate our relationship with any third party who is found to be in breach of this policy.
9. Continuous Improvement
We are committed to continuous improvement and will review and update this policy annually or in response to significant changes in our business or supply chains.
