As a forward-thinking, creative agency, here at Rocket HQ we are always on the look out for fresh, new talent. We passionately believe in offering today’s under and post graduates the opportunity to build on their academic knowledge by experiencing a real working environment. Our intern programme gives students invaluable ‘on the job’ training. This will put them one step ahead of the game when looking for full-time employment. Louise Prickett joined us as an intern earlier this year. She was on a 3-month placement, while studying for a marketing degree at the University of Hertfordshire. But it didn’t end there and Louise has now joined our team as a marketing executive.

Louise commented: Starting an internship at Rocket provided me with the perfect stepping stone to get me started on my sought-after career path in marketing. With jobs being few and far between at the moment, it was a great opportunity to learn the ropes, build my skill set and create a strong CV. I was delighted that it led to a more permanent job here. I would definitely urge anyone thinking of doing an internship to just go for it, because you never know where it might lead!”

We also welcomed our new apprentice, Ethan Golding, earlier this year. As an apprentice, Ethan is able to work and learn alongside experienced staff. Whilst undertaking his level 3 in software development, learning to become an expert in coding, website development and wordpress.

Ethan commented: Being at Rocket enables me to practice my skills, while gaining a recognised qualification. I am really enjoying working here with a great team. I am gaining confidence and awareness by being in a working environment.”
